ABOUT ME ...
Growing up in a motorsport family, motorsport was already in my cradle. While my father was very successful in rallying in the 70s and 80s, he led me into karting at an early age via soapbox races, which I lived successfully for many years. On the free weekends, we also spent a lot of time at different European race tracks, but it was especially the Nordschleife that fascinated me from an early age.
The passion was so great that at some point the decision was made to move to the Ring to live just „around the corner“. With the Nordschleife in my backyard, my active career in circuit racing began. Over the years, I raced at the Nürburgring in the endurance championship, in the 24-hour race, in various amateur series, but also in historic racing cars. This also gave me the idea of passing on the knowledge I had gained to other enthusiasts. Since 2010, I have been actively working with well-known racing teams, mainly as a car chief, and I founded my business as a motorsport coach in 2012.
Today, I offer these services not only to the most renowned car rental companies on the Ring, but also to trackday organisers and, of course, private individuals.
At Apex Nürburg, Hendrik is our go-to instructor and coach. Not only does he go out of his way accommodate our busy and dynamic schedule, he always goes the extra mile with our customers. Hendrik takes the time to get to know each individual before the laps, resulting in both a great rapport between pilot and co-pilot, as well as being well-informed about the customer’s needs, whishes and expectations. As Hendrik debriefs the driver after his laps, you’ll catch them laughing and sharing pleasantries, before “work continues”. Having an approachable and casual relationship with our customers is something we value most at Apex Nürburg, so Hendrik fits in to the team like a glove.
